KYOCERA FASTENING SOLUTIONS is an international group with around 400 employees across France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, the UK and several other countries. The company specialises in fastening solutions, tools and components for professionals in the construction and industrial sectors.

With a production site in the Vosges region of France, KYOCERA is continuing to develop its solutions and is now strengthening its R&D team.

As part of this growth, KYOCERA is creating a new Mechatronics Engineer position, based at its French headquarters in Saint-Amé, in the Vosges region.

Le groupe international KYOCERA FASTENING SOLUTIONS, qui comprend 400 collaborateurs répartis en France, aux Pays-Bas, au Danemark, en Suède, en Finlande, au Royaume-Uni et dans plusieurs autres pays, est spécialisé dans les solutions de fixation, l'outillage et les composants destinés notamment aux professionnels de la construction et de l'industrie.

Présent en France avec notamment un site de production dans les Vosges, l'entreprise poursuit le développement de ses solutions et renforce aujourd'hui son équipe R&D.

Dans ce contexte, KYOCERA crée un poste d'Ingénieur mécatronique basé au siège français, à Saint-Amé (Vosges 88).

MECHANICS, AUTOMATION AND CUSTOM-BUILT SOLUTIONS

As part of the international R&D team, you will contribute to the development and improvement of technical solutions, particularly for industrial applications such as prefabrication of builind parts, the automotive sector, and processing and packaging. Your work will focus on supporting and developing fit-for-purpose and bespoke fastening systems — including stapling and nailing solutions — into customers’ manufacturing processes.

The role combines mechanics, automation and mechatronics: designing solutions, developing prototypes, solving technical challenges and supporting teams through implementation.

Working at the intersection of innovation and industrial development, and in close collaboration with sales, production, suppliers and, when needed, customers, you will turn identified needs into practical, reliable and fit-for-purpose technical solutions.

A NEW ROLE SUPPORTING THE GROWTH OF R&D PROJECTS

This newly created position reflects KYOCERA’s commitment to strengthening the team and support the continued development of its R&D activities.

As our assembly plan is located in Saint-Amé, you will be the dedicated engineering capacity to support setting up of new tool assembly processes, documentation, improvements and other product related topics.

During your first months, part of your time will be dedicated to reviewing, structuring and improving existing technical documentation.

You will help ensure that the technical information supporting both the use and further development of our solutions is accurate, up to date and fit for purpose — including 3D drawings and models, product data, bills of materials, testing and validation records, as well as documentation related to regulatory requirements.

Once these technical foundations are in place, and as you build your knowledge of the products and processes, your focus will gradually shift towards development projects and new engineering challenges.

WORKING AS A TEAM… ACROSS EUROPE

Based in Saint-Amé, France, you will be part of a truly international organisation.

You will join an R&D team that includes two engineers in similar roles based in the Netherlands and report directly to the Director of R&D and Innovation EMEA, who is based in Denmark.

Working remotely with colleagues in different countries, exchanging ideas across borders and coordinating projects internationally will therefore be an integral part of your day-to-day work. In the start up phase weekly travel to the Netherlands for education will be necessary.

You will need to be comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with colleagues across R&D, sales and production, as well as with suppliers, technical partners and integrators.

MÉCANIQUE, AUTOMATISATION ET SOLUTIONS SUR MESURE

Intégré à l'équipe R&D internationale, vous intervenez sur le développement et l'évolution de solutions techniques, notamment autour des gammes destinées à l’industrie (secteur automobile, conditionnement et emballage…), avec l’intégration dans leur process de systèmes adaptés de fixation (agrafage, clouage…)

Votre rôle vous amène à travailler sur des projets mêlant mécanique, automatisation et mécatronique : conception de solutions, développement de prototypes, résolution de problématiques techniques et accompagnement des équipes dans leur mise en œuvre.

À l'interface entre innovation et développement industriel, avec les équipes commerciales, la production et, lorsque nécessaire, les clients, vous transformez les besoins exprimés en solutions techniques concrètes, fiables et adaptées.

UNE CREATION DE POSTE POUR SERVIR LE DEVELOPPEMENT DE PROJETS R&D

La création de ce poste s'inscrit dans une volonté de renforcer l'équipe et d'accompagner le développement de ces activités.

À votre arrivée, une part de votre temps sera consacrée à un travail de mise à jour, de structuration et d'amélioration de la documentation technique existante.

Vous contribuerez ainsi à fiabiliser et faire évoluer les informations techniques nécessaires à la bonne utilisation et au développement des solutions : plans et modèles 3D, données produits, nomenclatures, essais, validations ou encore documentation liée aux exigences réglementaires.

Une fois ces bases techniques consolidées, et prenant en compte votre montée en compétences sur les produits et process, la place accordée dans vos missions aux projets de développement et aux nouveaux sujets d'ingénierie prendra progressivement davantage d'importance,

TRAVAILLER EN ÉQUIPE… À L'ÉCHELLE EUROPÉENNE

Basé à Saint-Amé, vous évoluez au sein d'une organisation résolument internationale.

Vous rejoignez une équipe R&D composée notamment de deux ingénieurs occupant des fonctions équivalentes, situés aux Pays-Bas, et êtes directement rattaché au Director of R&D and Innovation EMEA, basé au Danemark.

Le travail à distance, les échanges avec des interlocuteurs de différents pays et la coordination de projets font donc pleinement partie de votre quotidien.

Vous devrez être à l'aise pour avancer en autonomie tout en collaborant étroitement avec vos collègues, les équipes commerciales, la production, les fournisseurs, les partenaires techniques et intégrateurs.

YOUR PROFILE

You hold an engineering degree and have solid experience in a technical and industrial environment, ideally at the intersection of mechanical engineering and automation.

You are comfortable working with 3D designs and technical drawings and have a good command of a 3D CAD package, ideally SolidWorks.

With fluent English skills (C1/C2), you are able to work confidently on a day-to-day basis with international colleagues and stakeholders.

Ideally you have experience in certification and documentation according to the machinery regulation/directive.

Beyond your technical expertise, we are looking for someone who can work independently, collaborate effectively with remote teams and manage several projects at once while maintaining a structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.

WHAT WE OFFER

· A gross annual salary between €55,000 and €65,000, depending on experience

· A position based in Saint-Amé, France, in the Vosges region

· International travel, averaging 4 to 5 days per month. More in the beginning.

VOTRE PROFIL

Ingénieur de formation, vous disposez d'une expérience confirmée dans un environnement technique et industriel, idéalement à l'interface entre mécanique et automatisation.

Vous êtes à l'aise avec la conception et la lecture de plans 3D et maîtrisez un logiciel de CAO, idéalement SolidWorks.

Votre niveau d'anglais courant (C2/C1) vous permet de travailler au quotidien avec vos interlocuteurs internationaux,

Au-delà de vos compétences techniques, nous recherchons surtout une personne capable de travailler avec autonomie, de collaborer efficacement à distance et d'avancer sur plusieurs sujets en conservant une approche structurée, pragmatique et orientée solutions.

Conditions du poste :

·       Rémunération annuelle brute comprise entre 55 K€ et 65 K€, selon expérience

·       Poste de travail basé à Saint Amé dans les Vosges et bien sûr, déplacements à l’étranger à prévoir (en moyenne, 4 à 5 jours par mois)
